where's my photo
How come everyone seems to know how to put pictures and fancy typefaces and pink fluffy things on their blogs but me? I kind of think I don't care but just one little pic of me might jolly things up a bit I thought. I could even show you pics of my snails if you like.
I know there is a whole 'add image' section but every time I try it I only get as far as a message warning me that it could take a long time. This would be OK but there is no sign of any activity. No whirring and no spinning circle or egg timer or anything so I seriously think nothing is happening there and I must have missed something.
Can anybody help me please?

Maisie, Sounds like your pics might be too big. Obviously the larger they are, the longer they take to upload. This is even more so if you use dial-up connection. (Remember: uploading is only about half the speed that you get when downloading)
If you are trying to send them raw from your camera, then they are probably massive. You'll need to reduce their size before sending them. If you have a photo editing app then try that. See if there is an option for 'Save for web' or some such. The smaller the better. They load faster and look better.
P.S. Remember to make copies of the originals before you edit them in case you ever want to print them, otherwise they will be too small.

Oh, and make sure the extentions are either .jpg or .gif for the web.

I've managed to put two pics in my photoblog. I seem to have run out of space now. This is because I haven't paid anything I think. Will I run out of space for text soon I wonder.
